Texans on Hard Knocks in 2015!
It was just announced that my new home team, the Houston Texans will be starring on Hard Knocks this season! This is a double dose of good news for me because not only do I love the show but it's the best way to get familiar with my new hometown NFL team.
Eating Clean – The Wendy Alves Way!
I’ve really been thinking lately about this whole clean eating trend and a lot of what I’ve been reading about it makes sense, so I’ve decided to give it a go! I’m not going to label what I’m doing as Whole 30 or Paleo but I’m definitely going to try and limit sugars, processed food, dairy, alcohol and carbs.
The New Alves Family Herb Garden
What a great day! As you will soon learn I’m really into improving my mind, body and spirit. Recently I read an article that explained starting an herb garden can be therapeutic, fun and useful. I figure it’s a great way to have fresh herbs on hand for cooking, and something the kids might enjoy participating with as a family activity as well.
